Re: From Taeeun :14-04-06 (일) 18:08
It is so good to hear from you and I think of you and your family every day. Here it is getting warm some but Winter is still sticking around, with rain and snow. One of our States has been having hail as large as Grapefruit and they are saying on the weather forecast they can expect more next week all across the Country to the East Coast. They said it could be damaging to cars. "Well, no kidding I thought." Think what it would do to anyone who is hit in the head with one that size. The Bible tells that during the Tribulation when there will be hail weighing from 70 to 100 pounds. Taeeun; stay young and beautiful, enjoy your youth because when you get our age, we don't like what we go through. Both Gloria and I, for the past couple of months have been having a lot of trouble with pain in our spine and legs, we are not like we were Gloria was 17 and I was 18 years old. 17 And Thank you Taeeun for wishing me a Happy Birthday, I am now Seventy eight, I was born at home in my Grandmothers bedroom in 1935. How much I wish I could return to that time and have better judgment on the things I have done but I praise the Lord Jesus for His forgiveness and the help He has given me to have work to do in order to buy food and pay our bills and travel. I have been reading my Bible every day and it will be my third time to read my Bible all the way through. There is some very good reading in the Book of Proverbs. I so wish I had read it as a young man. With you now getting up early to go to school is hard to get out of a warm bed, especially when it is winter. When I was in High School in Whittier, California, I would ride my bike to school and I would comb my hair before leaving home, that is when I had hair to comb. But In winter it was so cold and by the time I got to school my hair was frozen. In Korea, do you sleep on mats on the floor, like they do in Japan? I stayed all night in a Japanese home and that is all they had to sleep on along with a rice pillow. It was hard to lay your head on. That was in Yokosuka Japan while we were on our way to and from Korea, when the war ended. Well, Taessun, here it is 3 minutes after 1-o'clock AM and I need to do a couple of things before I can get in Bed. So I want to thank you for writing, it means a lot to this old man. We had a call from Eugene, Oregon from a Betty Hill to let us know that here husband had died Sunday. His name was Eldon Hill. She said he woke up and took two breaths and lay back down dead. We have been long time friends, Eldon and I worked together with for 15 years making Landing Gears for Aircraft. Eldon was a Christen, so I will see him again in Heaven along with others we had known on Earth. Good Night or I guess one could say Good Morning? We love you and I pray for you and your family, often. Your old American friend. Love, Johnny Lockhart,
